About TLC Outfitters

TLC Outfitters is built around real Kentucky hunting, respect for the resource and a bigger idea of what an outdoor company can leave behind.

Built on Kentucky Roots

TLC Outfitters reflects Trinity Shepherd's vision of what a Kentucky outfitter can be: deeply local, serious about the hunt, respectful of wildlife and habitat, and committed to building something that lasts beyond a single season.

Trinity's background in Kentucky parks and outdoor interpretation placed him close to Eastern Kentucky's elk story and the relationship between wildlife, tourism, hunting and local communities. That perspective now carries into a larger TLC mission: guided hunts, conservation, land, hospitality, youth opportunity and new outdoor ventures.

Guides, Standards & Trust

Kentucky Fish & Wildlife publishes commercial outfitter/guide licensing requirements and a public guide/outfitter resource. Hunters should always verify current licensing and regulations directly with the state. View Kentucky's commercial outfitter/guide requirements.

“It's not just what we hunt, but what we leave behind that really matters.”

— Trinity Shepherd

More Than Hunts

The TLC umbrella is intentionally broader than a single hunting service. FirstLight365 Outdoors, Trophyland, Transformer Lodge, Conservation Camp and Gunlock Hollow each represent a different path within a wider vision built around Kentucky, outdoors, stewardship, hospitality and relationships.
